Privacy Policy
Effective date: 7 October 2026. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have.
1. Who we are
This website, invest.anikadigital.in, is operated by Anika Investments (Anurag Gupta), an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor holding ARN-116771, with its office at L51, MDDA Complex, Clock Tower (Ghanta Ghar), Dehradun, Uttarakhand 248001, India ("we", "us", "our"). For the purposes of Indian data protection law, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy.
This policy covers personal data collected through this website. If you become an investor through us, the KYC and transaction documents you provide are also governed by the rules of SEBI, AMFI, the KYC Registration Agencies, the Registrar and Transfer Agents (RTAs) and the asset management companies (AMCs) involved, and by their own privacy policies.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
When you use the enquiry form on our contact page, we collect:
- your name and email address (required);
- your mobile number (optional);
- the area of interest you select (for example SIP, ELSS or bonds) and any message you write;
- a record that you ticked the consent box, and the date and time of your enquiry.
If you call, email or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to share in that conversation. Please do not send PAN, Aadhaar, bank account or card details through the website form or by email. We do not ask for them there.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs: like most websites, our hosting server records technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, referring page and time of visit. We use these logs only for security, troubleshooting and preventing abuse.
- Form security: to protect the form against spam, we set a session cookie (
anika_sid) that holds a security token and the captcha check. It is deleted when you close your browser. We also keep a one-way hash of your IP address for up to one hour to limit repeated submissions. - Animation preference: if you use the "Pause animations" button, your choice is stored in your browser's local storage (
anika-anim). It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or social-media pixels on this website.
Third-party services on this website
- Google Fonts: our pages load fonts from Google's servers, which means your browser sends your IP address and browser details to Google.
- Google Maps: the map on our contact page is embedded from Google Maps. When it loads, Google may set cookies and collect your IP address and usage data.
- WhatsApp: if you click a WhatsApp link, your conversation with us happens on WhatsApp and is governed by WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
These providers process data under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.
3. Why we use your data
- to reply to your enquiry by phone, email or WhatsApp, and to follow up on the topic you asked about;
- to keep a record of the conversation so that we can help you consistently;
- to keep the website secure and prevent spam or misuse;
- to meet our legal and regulatory obligations as a Mutual Fund Distributor, and to respond to lawful requests from authorities.
We do not use your enquiry details for unrelated marketing, and we do not make automated decisions about you.
4. Legal basis and consent
We process your personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, as well as the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, to the extent they continue to apply. The DPDP Rules are being brought into force in phases, with most duties of Data Fiduciaries scheduled to apply from May 2027; we have chosen to follow them already.
We rely on your consent, given by ticking the unticked consent box on our form, to process your enquiry. Where the law requires or permits it, we may also process data for legitimate uses such as complying with a legal obligation or a court or regulator's order.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries: kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, and then deleted, unless you become our client.
- If you become a client: your records are kept for as long as required by SEBI, AMFI, KYC and anti-money-laundering record-keeping rules, which can extend for several years after the relationship ends.
- Security data: the hashed IP used for rate-limiting is kept for about one hour; server logs are kept for a limited period set by our hosting provider.
If you withdraw consent, we will stop using and delete your enquiry data within a reasonable time, unless we are legally required to keep it.
6. Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers: our web hosting provider and email service provider, which store and deliver enquiries on our behalf.
- When you invest through us: with KYC Registration Agencies, RTAs and AMCs, and only with your consent and to the extent needed to complete your KYC or transactions.
- Legal requirements: with regulators, law-enforcement agencies or courts where the law requires it.
7. How we protect it
We use reasonable security safeguards: the website is served over HTTPS, enquiry records are stored outside the publicly accessible part of the server, access is limited to the people who need it to respond to you, and the form is protected with security tokens, a captcha and rate limits. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but if a personal data breach affecting you occurs, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Access — ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- Correction and completion — ask us to correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data when it is no longer needed, unless we must keep it by law;
- Withdraw consent — at any time, as easily as you gave it; this does not affect processing done before withdrawal;
- Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with us, and if you are not satisfied, with the Data Protection Board of India;
- Nominate — nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
To use any of these rights, email us at contact@anikadigital.in. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we aim to respond within 30 days.
9. Children
This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Investments for minors are made through a parent or legal guardian; if you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Effective date: 7 October 2026.
